Record low temperatures in February have resulted in high electric bills. Click here for more information.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, the Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas is hosting an online Youth Tour program via Zoom to be held June 18-25.  The virtual experience will consist of:

  • Learning about electric cooperatives and the cooperative business model;
  • Sessions with lawmakers on Capitol Hill and the Arkansas State Capitol;
  • Sessions with Arkansas business, education, and faith leaders;
  • Electing a Youth Leadership Council (YLC) representative to NRECA’s YLC Program
  • Interacting with other Arkansas Youth Tour participants virtually; and
  • Learn how you could earn a $5,000 college scholarship by planning and executing a public service project in the local community. (Students are not required to perform a public service project to participate in Youth Tour.)

Please note: Each session will be recorded and shared with students who might not be able to attend live sessions
