Service Disconnect Moratorium
DISCONNECTIONS FOR NON-PAYMENT WILL RESUME BEGINNING ON MAY 3, 2021.
The Arkansas Public Service Commission has lifted the moratorium suspending service disconnections.
Carroll Electric understands that several of its members have been financially impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. We also understand the importance of providing accurate information to our members regarding the alternatives available to prevent an unmanageable build-up of past due balances and avoid the possible suspension of electric service.
Customers who are past due on their electric bills are encouraged to visit our Payment Arrangements or Assistance website page to view a list of available payment options and a list of organizations that provide energy bill assistance.
Establishing a payment plan with the Cooperative and maintaining the arrangements under these plans will prevent the suspension of your electric service once service disconnects resume.
Please contact the Cooperative by phone at 1-800-432-9720 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss alternative payment options or to receive further information regarding service disconnections in Arkansas.
