Improved Environmental Habitats and Practices

Carroll Electric has worked with a variety of organizations, including the National Wild Turkey Federation and the Arbor Day Foundation’s Tree Line USA program, to learn the best practices to manage natural habitats for plants and wildlife.   Carroll Electric recognizes the importance of protecting trees as a vital natural resource to improve the quality of life in the communities we serve.  As a result, many vegetation management professionals within the Cooperative are certified arborists through the International Society of Arboriculture.

A study conducted by the National Wild Turkey Federation revealed the right-of-way management we perform helps to restore native plants and grasses, which creates an environment where wildlife can thrive and migrate more freely.
