How to Report an Outage

The automated outage reporting system is the easiest and most efficient way to notify Carroll Electric of a power interruption at your location, even during normal business hours.  A message is immediately sent to the Cooperative's Operations Center, advising us we have a customer without power.

TO REPORT AN OUTAGE:

  1. Call your local office or toll-free 800-432-9720.
  2. Listen for the option on the menu to report an outage. (If the system does not recognize your telephone number, please enter your account location number.)
ONLINE OUTAGE REPORTING SYSTEM

Your account information stored in this system is driven by your telephone number.  When you call from the telephone number on record, caller ID immediately identifies you and streamlines the reporting of your outage.  If we do not have a telephone number associated with your account, call today to speak to the Customer Service Center (800-432-9720).  It will make future outage reporting faster and less stressful.
