Why is Vegetation Management Important?
 “Beginning with the end in mind” is exactly the idea behind vegetation management.  Vegetation management is essential to providing our members safe, high-quality, reliable and affordable electricity.  Trees are a valuable asset in public, private and commercial landscapes. They help the environment and add beauty to the property.  Unfortunately, these same trees can be a major challenge because they often are one of the major causes of power outages in areas with utility lines. 

 Carroll Electric Cooperative Corporation’s Vegetation Management Program was developed to help provide members with reliable electric service at an affordable cost, which are the two main things the majority of our members have told us they want. 

Our Vegetation Management Program uses tested products that have been properly registered for use with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and are applied strictly in accordance with prescribed regulations.
